Corpus Christi, TX – In June of 2022, Elliot‘s Lone Star Division had the opportunity to support one of their local baseball teams coached by a familiar face – employee-owner Chris Aguilar! The Lone Star Division collected funds to sponsor the local LBA 10U Baseball Team in their efforts to participate in the invitation-only PG 10U National World Series in Marietta, GA.
While in Marietta, the LBA 10U Baseball Team competed in pool play, earning three hard-fought victories, one loss, and a tie – leading to them being seeded 1st in the Silver Bracket of the tournament. Following the conclusion of tournament play, the team finished 23rd out of the 66 teams participating.
If that was not enough, five players were selected for the All-Tournament Team, including Christopher Aguilar II for hitting and pitching, Caden Boyd for hitting, Ezra Elizondo for hitting, Alex Gutierrez for hitting, and Matthew Moreno for pitching.
In appreciation of the donation made by Elliot’s Lone Star Division, the LBA 10U Baseball Team members wore a patch featuring the Elliot Texas logo on their jerseys.
