Elliot Company, Inc. has partnered with the Civic Works Center for Sustainable Careers in Baltimore, MD to identify well-qualified applicants to join the company’s team in the Mid-Southeast Region. According to their website, the Civic Works Center for Sustainable Careers “strengthens Baltimore’s communities through education, skills development, and community service.”
“Our customer, Baltimore Gas & Electric, recommended Civic Works to us as a great place to build relationships with talented, driven individuals looking to begin a career in our field,” said Sam Athy, Division Manager for Elliot’s Capital Division, “After meeting with the team at Civic Works we were able to recognize that the program graduates would be a natural fit for our entry-level positions in the Outdoor Lighting & Meter Loop departments.”
This partnership will help Elliot bolster their continually growing Outdoor Lighting & Meter Loop department, a key focus area for the Capital Division team while creating more career opportunities for those local to Baltimore.
“Our goal is to onboard, train, and develop these young men and women into successful crew leaders at Elliot while providing a growth and progression plan so they can call Elliot home for a long time,” added Athy.
