46Solutions Wins Commerce Lexington’s 2023 Small Business of the Year August 18, 2023

Lexington, KY – 46Solutions, a member of the Elliot Family of Brands, was selected as the 2023 Commerce Lexington Small Business of the Year during the Salute to Small Business Luncheon hosted at the Central Bank Center in Lexington, KY, on Friday, August 18th. Additionally, 46Solutions was recognized with the Business Success Award. This award is given to organizations that “exemplify both business and civic leadership. Community involvement, good management practices, overall financial performance, and workplace culture and employee relations are the primary criteria for this category,” per Commerce Lexington’s website.

46Solutions was launched in 2019 by Davis H. Elliot Company’s Vice President of Information Technology, Bob Fronk. The venture was initially developed due to the increased demand from Elliot’s customers for assistance with IT services for their small and medium-sized businesses but has since grown into a company with nearly 50 employees who provide an array of business IT and home entertainment technology services throughout Central Kentucky and beyond. “We started this company with 9 employees, and it has been an overwhelming experience to watch it grow to where it is today and to see the opportunities it provides people to support their families,” said Fronk. “This award is a credit to the amazing work our team does each day, and the way they support each other and our customers.”

“What makes me most proud about this accomplishment is our team at 46Solutions,” added David Haskins, President/CEO of Elliot, “We encouraged them to start the business so we could provide more opportunities for the talented team we had built, and it has been a blessing to see them create opportunities for so many others as the business has grown. I could not be more proud of them.”

While the team is proud of the accomplishment, Wil Winstead, 46Solutions’ Director of Information Technology, is quick to keep the focus on what has gotten the company to where it is today, “We are an employee-owned company, and our focus must remain on the people. We sell the same products and software as our competitors and provide many of the same services. What makes us different is how we treat our team members, how they treat our customers, and the relationships we build with businesses and homeowners to help them achieve their goals.”
